Rollback in fuel prices announced

MANILA, Philippines—Two oil companies announced Friday night a rollback in the prices of their products effective August 13.

Flying V said that effective at 12.01 a.m. of Aug. 13, it will roll back the prices of the following: Biodiesel by P1.50/liter; Avgas, Avgas E10, Avgas Rush, Avgas Thunder by P1.30/liter; Leadfree and Leadfree E10 by P1.30/liter; regular gasoline by P1.00 per liter and Gazel (kerosene) by P1.50/liter.

Eastern Petroleum will also cut its diesel price by P1.50/liter and premium and unleaded gasoline by P1.30 per liter.

Petron, on the other hand, said it will increase LPG prices by P1.00/kg and autoLPG by P0.63/liter effective 12.01 a.m. of August 13.

Petron said the adjustments reflect contract prices and the rise in freight premiums for LPG in August.
