They want the best deal for their hard-earned money if they are to invest it in their gadgets.

Beauty is their foremost concern. An example is Asus VivoBook which showcases incredible sleek design with rounded surfaces.
“Here in Asus, we make it a point that the moment they open the packaging, they will be delighted,” says George Su, Asus Systems Business group country manager.
Next is sound. Asus has made products which deliver life-like audio through sonic master.
Sonic master was developed in 2005 by a specific team whose only mission is to mimick the reality of a world full of living sound.
Aptly called, the Asus Golden Ear team together with Bang and Olufsen ICEpower, the products is equipped with a deeper bass and crystal clear sound.
Su says that the Golden Ear team is unrivalled in its sheer love for sound and with Asus, even entry-level products has premium sound.
If the sound department rallies for Team Golden Ear then the touch department cheers for Team Golden Finger.
Team Golden Finger focuses on giving users a product that has high sensitivity, equipped with quick response and provides ease for the fingers to touch.
“Our touch screens are 80 percent faster than any other competition and it’s almost real time,” adds Su.
Waiting time on rebooting is cut short with Asus’ products. The answer lies within the device’s two-second instant on resume mode.
The super hybrid engine II technology offers up to 14 days of standby. Smooth multimedia and multitasking is powered by intel processors up to Core i7.
Ubiquity through Asus cloud services streamlines the connection of multiple devices by offering accessibility anywhere.
Through the Asus web storage, a user can remotely access files and contacts. Battery life is also extended for thrice the charging cycle thus, making them eco-friendly, safe and money saving.
Over a hundred dealers attended the conference here as Asus presented a new lineup of products.
Among them is Bryan Chan, product manager of Octagon. He relates that almost nine years of being a dealer for Asus, he always felt the company’s support through the years.
“They are always available. Just tell them your concerns and they will respond immediately,” he says. The design, aesthetics and technology are his top three favorite things about Asus.
Asked what makes him stay with Asus, he answers that “it’s the relationship between the dealer and the company itself that makes us stick around.”
He also adds that the quality of an Asus product is something they always look forward to because it never fails to surprise them.
The Philippine market is seen as a unique market. “I think what makes this market special is its people. Because the users in the market are very energetic, very young. No taste is similar from one place to another. You won’t find a taste that is similar in Davao, Cebu or North and South Luzon … So it makes our job more interesting,” says Su.
With the rosy forecast of the economy, the Philippines is now seen as an emerging market. Su adds, “This is a highly potential market not only Asus believes so but all the other multinational companies notice the Philippines.”
