Comfort at its best, green at its finest at Arya Residences

By

The two-tower Arya Residences at the Bonifacio Global City.

As a newcomer in an industry dominated by well-established giants, it may not be easy nor practical to take chances. The norm is to conform and go with the flow; to give what is expected and ride on the tried-and-tested formula employed by most successful developers.

Yet ArthaLand Corp.  opted to do otherwise.

The company, through its initial offering, Arya Residences, decided to take the road less traveled: to “go green” all the way—from design to materials, even as the concept  has, at that time, just begun sweeping companies all over the world.

And for that, this rookie player gained the much-sought approval of buyers and esteemed respect of its colleagues in the field.

Certification goal of gold

The two-tower Arya Residences is the first residential high-rise in the country to be registered under the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program with the certification goal of Gold.

A top end, boutique condominium development located on McKinley Parkway in Bonifacio Global City, Arya Residences aims to offer future homeowners the privilege to live well and to live right without sacrificing life’s great pleasures.

Designed with aesthetics and a specific  purpose in mind, Arya Residences can clearly be deemed as the embodiment of luxury paired with responsibility and style that comes with sustainability.

Or you could say, “Arya Residences is comfort at its best, and green at its finest.”

ARYA—from design to materials—takes green living two steps further.

“As a company it is our policy to be proactive in keeping our environment healthy,” said ArthaLand president and CEO Angie de Villa-Lacson.

“We believe that if the environment is well and healthy, the community will surely benefit. A vibrant environment supports healthy lifestyle and promotes total well-being,” she added.

Proof of this is the company’s effort to go the extra mile to ensure that every detail—from blueprint to turnover and beyond—is carefully studied, crafted and delivered to let future residents achieve the high standards of luxurious green living.

From the building materials to water efficiency, structural design to indoor environmental quality, Arya even takes green living two steps further, the company claimed.

“We make sure that every detail of our project contributes to our drive to be sustainable. By design, Arya Residences will allow its residents not just to live a luxurious and gracious lifestyle, but also let them enjoy a cost-efficient and environmentally conscious way of living,” DeVilla-Lacson explained.

And to ensure that Arya Residences adheres to the highest standards set by USGBC in using resources and implementing  eco-friendly building practices, Artha Land employed  groundbreaking technologies and strategies in the construction of its two towers.

Building features

These are evident in the features being offered by Arya Residences, which do not only cater to the changing needs and whims of the present day consumer, but more notably, exemplify how a developer can be truly green and sustainable.

Energy savings of at least 14 percent.

All units at Arya Residences will be cooled by energy efficient multi-split Samsung DVM Mini Inverter air-conditioning system, while its generously-size windows would allow for abundant natural light. Arya Residences also boasts of top-to-bottom use of double-paned, low E glass to minimize heat exposure and operable window in each room would allow for natural ventilation.

Potable water savings of as much as 30-40 percent.

All units will showcase well-appointed and water-efficient toilet fixtures, and dual-flush water closets. Also, the bathrooms dual-piping system will allow the use of recycled water for toilet flushing. Rainwater will also be harvested for landscape irrigation.

Finishes and sealants used have low VOC.

The globally recognized LEED standard applied in Arya Residences ensures that home finishes, paints and adhesives used are low-VOC (meaning emitting less toxic fumes).

Majority of the units are facing either north or south.

The towers’ north-to-south orientation limits heat absorption from the morning and afternoon sun and is designed at an angle to naturally direct wind toward the units. Meanwhile, the spacious, multipurpose balconies act as outdoor dining nooks and sunshades while ushering free air indoors.

Arya Residences is near basic necessities.

Commercial and business areas are within walking distance while convenient dining options are also provided at The Plaza, thus minimizing the need for long travel.

It is worth to note the recognition received by ArthaLand from the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines as one of its staunchest supporters in its drive to boost awareness and involvement in conserving natural resources, proof that the company is taking to heart its commitment to the environment.

“Our partnership in WWF is just one way to show our commitment to keep our environment green and sustainable for generations to come. So much like our dedication to building projects that are future proof,” De Villa-Lacson concluded.
