The will to inspire

Suntrust Properties Inc. continues to inspire and motivate its sellers by constantly recognizing the work that they do for the company and their clients.

Behind every success is often a story of inspiration.

That desire to reach one’s dreams and ambitions, the burning passion that moves individuals to become better versions of themselves, and that  strong yearning to uplift one’s living conditions often stem from an inspiration: a person who may have mentored you, a company that allowed you to hone your talents, or a situation that simply left you aspiring for bigger and greater things.

Soon, that same story becomes the light, or the inspiration for many others who are still finding their way.

FEATURED STORIES

This is the story of Suntrust Properties Inc., whose successful journey became an inspiration for its employees to aspire for more. And in turn, the employees themselves became the inspiration for the millions of Filipinos who also dreamed and aspired to own a decent home.

Powerful emotion

This is why Suntrust Properties recently unveiled its latest campaign that seeks to drive all who are part of the company, from its ranking officials, employees, to its real estate agents or the Suntrustees, to be inspired and to inspire others to aspire—hence, #inSPIretoaSPIre.

Coming from the heels of its highly successful “Bentengkyu”  campaign, in which the company and its employees paid homage to people who helped propel the company to where it is today, Suntrust Properties rises to the challenge anew, determined to create an even more meaningful impact in the lives of its people and buyers.

The key, Suntrust Properties president Harry Paltongan believes, lies in inspiration.

Suntrustees were welcomed by their leaders who aim to further inspire them to aspire for something greater.

“Inspiration is a very powerful emotion because it drives you to move forward. But we need to start with ourselves, we need to find reasons to be inspired,” said Suntrust Properties president Harry Paltongan at the company’s annual awards and sales kick off rally held Thursday at the Blue Leaf Filipinas.

“For example, many of you here were able to own a house and lot while being in Suntrust. Some were able to travel abroad for the first time. Many of you were able to send your siblings to school. You were able to change your lives for the better with the help of Suntrust. And if we are inspired, then we should pass that inspiration to others so that they too can aspire to be successful,” he said.

Challenging journey

The story of Suntrust itself is one that can serve as an inspiration to many as it tells of the company’s challenging journey—being a venture born in a time of a crisis, during which its leaders and partners have exhausted all means to turn the tide and to eventually steer the company to greater heights.

Today, Suntrust Properties is a leader in its own right, one of the country’s most trusted brands and strongest players in the affordable market segment, with its distinct developments and masterplanned communities enjoying the warm reception from many Filipinos.

Such a tale can only serve as proof that if one is inspired, dedicated and passionate, no journey will ever be too difficult, and no goal will be unreachable.

Making a difference

Amid the deafening cheers and applause during its sales rally, Suntrust Properties also made it clear that this is now the path the company will take after decades of hurdling challenges and overcoming trials: to inspire others to aspire.

In an event that highlighted stories of trials, triumphs and success, company officials made a strong commitment to serve as an inspiration to their employees, while urging the Suntrustees to do same for their buyers, and put to heart their latest campaign which was to #inSPIretoaSPIre.

“An inspiration is like a magnet or a tentacle. It makes people stick to the brand. And when it is shared well, it empowers them to realize their importance in reaching the overall goals. And in that process, they see beyond themselves and look for a greater purpose,” he said.

“It starts with being inspired by someone. Through the talks that we give, we hope to make them think like us or like how we wish them to be—to be better persons. Then they progress to their history or experiences as individuals or as a team or company. Knowing their history and what they can do must inspire them also. The best is for them to be inspired by Suntrust itself—on what it teaches and on what it stands for. Being better is not just excelling in sales but creating positive impact on other people—inspiring others even beyond the company’s borders,” Paltongan concluded.
