Swatch building the ultimate fun venue for the Swiss watch brand
SWATCH Double Double featuring the Double Tour watches
Standing brightly along the busy Arnaiz Avenue in Makati City is the modern building of Swatch & Swatch. This commercial avenue is filled with several boutique hotels and dining establishments but the Swatch building must be the most outstanding with a 24-foot tall Sardina watch standing proudly on its façade.
With a photographic fish print on its dial and a fishbone graphic printed on its dark blue strap, the Sardina is caught on the hook of a fisherman’s silhouette by the sun, lit atop the Swatch & Swatch signage.
Beaming from miles away, the Swatch & Swatch building is dramatically lit with strategic lights placed in the exterior and interior of the building. The contemporary look of the building

is highlighted with floor to ceiling glass panels and colorful graphics.
Showcase
This multifunctional, three-floor playground of Swatch is the ultimate fun venue for the Swiss watch brand to showcase its different collections throughout the year. For the latest Swatch Summer Collection 2015, Swatch grand dame Virgie Ramos commissioned creative genius artist Jerome Lorico to create several installations to feature the exciting pieces.
A play on illusion and reflection greets the guests on the ground floor of the building. Industrial metal pieces surround the area with black lights bouncing off countless mirror panels. The crystal maze has motion-sensor walls that immediately light up with every step. The latest Double Double collection of audacious Swatch double tour watches is displayed in this fascinating gallery.
Also revealed behind these illusion mirrors are the more masculine Gran Turismo double straps: the Double Depth and Doppiogiro watches. Next to the display is the industrial-designed stairwell and elevator leading to the upper floors.
Departing from the fringe world of the ultracool double straps of the ground floor, Jerome designed a world of colorful whimsy to feature the Surfing The Wave collection. A life-size gallery glistening with the prismatic colors of the rainbow highlights these vibrant watches.
AWESOME fisherman scene at the frontage of the Swatch & Swatch building
Rainbow-colored walls bounce light from the ceiling and spotlight the brand-new designs from this beach-inspired collection. These timepieces are full of spunk and attitude and this summer impression is carried throughout the showcase with painted giant tropical leaves.
At the second floor, the cool vibe is created with lounge couches and play areas with foosball, table tennis and air hockey. This floor also overlooks into the ground floor where part of the crystal maze is seen.
Roof deck
The Swatch & Swatch’s roof deck completes the display of the latest collection. To transform the space to replicate the gardens of Tuscany, a lush outdoor garden with vertical wall gardens and giant trees is added to the deck.
A grass lawn was laid out with giant swings and whirling windmills to catch the summer breeze. Here, the Mediterranean Dolce Vita collection is creatively displayed. Truly a sensory experience, the Tomatella, the Onione and Vitamine Boost watches are showcased next to organic plants and herbs. Pop-art graphics of tomatoes, onions and oranges are illustrated in the straps of these timepieces.
White swings are placed all over the deck for guests to enjoy viewing the installation and savor the delicious buffet spread.
