The art of expression

Three renowned individuals representing their respective fields—art, fashion and food—shared to the media how each one of them would configure the Flex unit according to his/her style, needs and preference. Flex units, an Ayala Land original in East Gallery Place, are efficiently planned without interior partitions and can be transformed according to their owners’ needs in their different life stages.

Model-turned-photographer Jo Ann Bitangcol was the first to showcase her prowess in configuring a one-bedroom Flex unit to her own lifestyle. She needed a larger living area for what she is passionate at—photography. She said “a space is not just a space.”

Jewelry designer Joyce Makitalo presented her fashion vignette in a one-bedroom Felex unit. She remarked: “I want easy access to my desk where I do my design (referring to a table near her bed). It’s a comfy workplace.” What used to be Joyce’s hobby turned into a craft. Her living room doubles as a showroom for her jewelry pieces.

When asked to comment on the Flex unit she configured, she said it helps foster creativity. “It makes me productive at home,” she quipped.

Residential units

According to Ayala Land Premier Residential Buildings project head Catleya Moya, the residential building (East Gallery Place) rising at the corner of 11th Avenue and 28th Street will have a total of 407 residential units, with sizes ranging from approximately 76 to 648 square meters. The turnover of the residences is scheduled in 2019.

Ayala Land Premier Sales head Mike Jugo said: “East Gallery Place offers the luxury of choice. We have six residential formats, all of which are unique from each other. They are distinct not only in size or unit features but also in the way they were intended to be used at present (when the residential units are turned over) and in the future.”

According to him, all of these residential spaces were designed to evolve as the buyer progresses in life, considering his/her varying life stages.

Moya explained: “East Gallery Place has a North Wing and South Wing. The North Wing has a maximum of nine units per floor with Classic one- to four-bedroom units. These units offer the Classic Ayala Land Premier finishes such as European-grade kitchens, wood flooring from sustainable sources and homogenous tile finsihes.”

According to Moya, the Flex units (Flex 2 and 3) can be configured into one- to three-bedroom units based on the resident’s style, needs and preference. “Should a single person marry, or go into a home business, for example, the unit offers the flexibility of being configured to have a larger bedroom or create space for a home office,” she said.

This is a bilevel 5 bedroom penthouse that spans approximately 1,400 sq m,” he said.

These are three-bedroom and limited four-bedroom units with an approximate average area of 200 sq m,” he said.

Those who wish to make their plunge pools private will prefer the Skycove Aqua as their residence. There are only 11 units of Skycove Aqua residence, which has an 80-sq-m balcony that opens to their private pool.
