Oil firm announces price cuts

MANILA, Philippines — Chevron (formerly Caltex) Philippines will lower the prices of its oil products effective this Wednesday noon, an official said.

WPP of Gold, Gold E10, Silver and Silver E10 is down by P0.60 per literl, Diesel by P0.25 per liter, Kerosene, P0.40 per liter and Regular by P0.70per liter (all vat inclusive). Price adjustments are due to market forces, according to Toby Nebrida.

Nebrida cited that price adjustments due to market forces as the reason behind the increases.
