According to its Country Manager for Aesthetic Division Ludovico Perez, Jr., they are focused on introducing this cutting-edge technology to the stakeholders in the aesthetic industry. The company showcased the EMFACE Eye Applicator during the intimate event attended by select physicians, clinic owners and press held at the Shangri-La The Fort Manila in BGC, Taguig City last March 24.

“We believe that EMFACE Eye Applicator is a revolutionary product, a breakthrough machine that we feel we need to educate our clients and patients about,” said Perez.

The benefits of the said technology were discussed by Malaysian aesthetic expert Dr. Usha Hoh and Philippines’ own board-certified dermatologist Dr. Jonathan Yu. The latter conducted a live demonstration, showcasing the treatment’s remarkable results—a 20-minute, painless, and downtime-free procedure that redefines non-surgical facial enhancement. He beamed that his girlfriend has tried the procedure and so has his mother, emphasizing its safety and effectiveness.

“This is the only machine that works on muscle and also on the skin itself. Because of the radio frequency component, there is what we call collagen remodeĺing. A (traditional) facial can’t do that,” Dr. Yu compared the procedure to the traditional facial treatments.

According to Dr. Yu, the minimum number of sessions is at least four with one-week interval per session, for optimal results.

Meanwhile, Dr. Hoh said that “training is very important” as there is a radio frequency that “only physicians must handle the procedure and not just the assistants.” She explained how the machine works.

Dr. Hoh walks the talk as she herself used the procedure. She shared about her own experience with the innovative machine, boasting that there is no single patient who went back home not happy with the results of EMFACE.

She added that the applicators are placed under the eyes to simultaneously emit unharmful radio frequency (RF) that restores the collagen and elastic fibers in the dermal layers to make the skin thicker.
