Philippines posts $2.3B balance of payment deficit in Nov

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines’ overall balance of payments (BOP) position was a deficit of $2.3 billion in November, the Bangko ng Sentral ng Pilipinas said on Thursday.

It is wider than the $724 million deficit in the previous month.

The cumulative BOP level for January to November was a $2.1 billion surplus, lower than the $3.0 billion surplus recorded in the same period last year.
