TOYM Class of 2023 nomination open nationwide until Oct. 30
The search for The Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) of the Philippines class of 2023 has begun. TOYM Foundation and Junior Chamber International (JCI) Philippines formally opened the TOYM 2023 nomination process on Sept. 8 with the theme “Passionate leaders, embracing innovations.” Nominations will be accepted until Oct. 30.
TOYM aims to recognize Filipinos ages 18 to 40 who have meaningfully contributed to the development of his or her community or industry. The honorees, as distinguished members of society, are handpicked to inspire the youth to be catalysts of change.
This year also marks the 64th year of TOYM, the country’s most prestigious awards for high-achieving young persons.
To make the nomination process more accessible to underrepresented sectors, a series of stakeholders’ forum and caravan will be conducted in various locations around the country in the weeks to come. As such, the organizers expect to tap groups and individuals to highlight experts, innovators and professionals who are most deserving of the award.
The press launch at Discovery Suites, Ortigas Center to kick off the award search was graced by TOYM Foundation president Chaye Cabal-Revilla, TOYM chair Bienvenido Tantoco III, JCI Philippines 2023 national president Kerby Javier Salazar, TOYM national chair Joven Bernados and TOYM deputy national chair Reginald Andal, together with past TOYM honorees George Royeca, Shawntel Nieto, Victor Baguilat and Don Prisno.
