Filinvest Group honors teams for exemplary projects and multiple awards
Filinvest Development Corporation (FDC) has received numerous awards for its accomplishments in property development, hospitality, and innovation. These awards, garnered from last year until now, highlight the efforts and contributions of employees and partners in reaching the company’s vision. The awards showcase the company’s commitment to empowering Filipinos to attain their dreams through its diverse products and services.

These awards inspire us to foster organizational excellence across the Filinvest Group and build up talents who will embody the values of the company,” said Josephine Gotianun-Yap, FDC CEO and President.
FDC and its property subsidiary, Filinvest Land Inc. (FLI), have been recognized for good corporate governance by the Institute of Corporate Directors. Both companies were included on the list of Asean Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) Golden Arrow awardees. FDC and FLI were each awarded one arrow for achieving the required assessment scores on the ACGS, which is a tool used to evaluate the quality of corporate governance practices in publicly listed companies.
FLI received a total of 18 accolades, among them, a significant recognition for Mrs. Josephine Gotianun Yap, as the first female recipient of the Real Estate Personality award at PropertyGuru’s Philippines Property Awards. The company was also recognized by Corporate Governance Asia’s Asian Excellence Awards as the Best Investor Relations Company. At the Dot Property Awards, the company was named Best Developer in North Luzon and Best Developer in Mindanao for the second consecutive year. It was also named Best Developer in Visayas for the first time.
Filinvest REIT, the sustainability-themed real estate investment trust of the group, once again made it to the Asia CEO Awards Circle of Excellence as Sustainability Company of the Year. It was also named REIT Initiative of the Year at the Real Estate Asia Awards.
Three of Filinvest’s projects were also cited at the 2022 Philippine Real Estate Awards by Lamudi. These were Golf Ridge Private Estate (Highly Commended, Best Premium Condo of the Year – Luzon), Botanika Nature Residences Tower 1 (Highly Commended, Best Premium Condo of the Year – Luzon) and Brentville (Highly Commended, Best Premium House of the Year – Luzon).
Meanwhile, Filinvest Hospitality’s Crimson Boracay won the prestigious Conde Nast’s Johanssen Award for Excellence as Best Resort for Families. Chroma Hospitality, Filinvest’s hotel management company, was also named Most Resilient Hospitality Group at the Virtus Award organized by the Hotel Sales and Marketing Association.
A testament to its strong ties with partner organizations, listed banking subsidiary EastWest Bank was recognized last year as Number 1 Bank Partner for 2021 by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation. FDC Utilities Inc., the group’s power subsidiary, was also recognized by PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority for contributions to the local economy of Misamis Oriental as Top 1 Prompt Payor and Biggest Investment awardee.
F(DEV), which champions innovation across the Filinvest group was likewise a finalist at the Origin Innovation Awards under the category Startup Leader of the Year and Corporate Sustainability Champions. They won the award for Investree which is a fintech platform that provides working capital solutions to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Philippines.
The achievements and recognition received would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of the employees and partners.
