LR unit rolls out sports betting platform
A unit of gaming firm Leisure & Resorts World Corp. (LR) has obtained accreditation from Philippine Amusement & Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) to roll out its own sports betting platform.
The platform, called GSports, was launched by LR’s fully owned subsidiary, Total Gamezone Xtreme Inc. (TGXI). It caters to sports enthusiasts and sports betting fans aged 21 and above.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Tuesday, GSports was described by LR as a “top-rated sportsbook where players can place wagers on a variety of betting markets across professional, collegiate and other sports leagues via retail or online GSports sportsbook.”
This online platform allows players to “save time and money by using the gadget of their choice like tablet, laptop or even smartphones to quickly start placing wagers.”
Sports fans can place bets on any competition and live betting from across the world 24/7, ranging from well-known sports like football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, to popular leagues and even to the niche markets.
GSports can likewise offer “competitive and better odds” in different markets, thereby giving “higher chances of bigger profit for the sports betting fan,” the disclosure said.
Article continues after this advertisementTo ensure a secure and safe betting website, TXGI is using the latest encryption technologies to protect the sensitive information of its customers, the disclosure added.“Fairness and quality playing experience are guaranteed as all its betting products and services are audited and regulated by Pagcor,” it added.
Article continues after this advertisementTGXI also currently acts as the operator and licensee of Pagcor e-casino stations and remote gaming platform for electronic gaming. As of end-August, TGXI had 30 branches within Luzon, with a total of 1,239 terminals.
Earlier, TGXI likewise officially launched its own electronic gaming system and remote gaming platform.
