PPP Center says projects cleared for its PDMF program
The Public Private Partnership (PPP) Center said more projects, including key water and waste management facilities, have been approved for support under its Project Development and Monitoring Facility (PDMF).The PDMF is a revolving fund that supports prefeasibility studies, feasibility studies, and other necessary preinvestment activities to help develop bankable PPP projects.
The assistance extends to the actual bidding process and project monitoring during implementation.
According to the PPP Center, these projects are the Ormoc City Water Supply System, Iloilo City Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility, Bislig City Bulk Water Supply and Septage, Kennon Road, Mariveles Wellness Center, Neda (National Economic and Development Authority) sa Makati Property Redevelopment, and Bicol Medical Center-Medical Arts Building and upgrading of Health Services.
Additional PDMF support has also been approved for the independent consultancy services for the operation and maintenance of the Clark International Airport expansion.
The Clark Airport is currently being operated by the private sector consortium led by JG Summit Holdings and Filinvest Development Corp.
Beyond the PDMF program, the PPP Center said there were four solicited projects that remain under procurement.
Article continues after this advertisementThese are the Baggao Level III Water Supply, Development and Management of the Club Intramuros Golf Course, Development and Management of the Balicasag Island Dive Resort, and the Road Transport Information Technology Infrastructure (Phase II).
Article continues after this advertisementFor the unsolicited projects, the Quezon City No Contact Apprehension and the General Santos City Sanitary Landfill are currently under competitive challenge.
The PPP Center said the competitive challenge for the Quezon City Integrated Solid Waste Management Facility had been concluded.
