PH company signs deal with Korean firm for deployment of electric buses

MANILA, Philippines — Global Electric Transport (GET), a Makati-based transport firm, signed an agreement with South Korean company C-SO Funding for the financing of the deployment of air-conditioned electric buses in key cities nationwide.

According to a GET statement, the buses are powered by a rapid charging system that gives them a range of 100 kilometers.

The buses will use a touchless payment system and geolocation devices that can be also used for contact tracing.
