Restaurant Verbena welcomes 22 Prime Steakhouse with new Executive Chef

For 5 years, Executive Chef Gerwin Bailon has been the man behind the award-winning 22 Prime Steakhouse. Known for his expert steak dishes, signature carving events, and crafted course meals, the steak expert adds another establishment under his belt.

Earlier this year, Chef Gerwin was appointed Executive Chef of Restaurant Verbena in Discovery Country Suites Tagaytay, bagging the position of his second flagship restaurant under Discovery Hospitality. He’s since been hard at work bringing his expertise to the steak hungry Tagaytay market. Restaurant Verbena recently introduced 22 Prime items such as USDA Prime Rib Eye, Surf and Turf, and New York Striploin, much to the joy of restaurant regulars and new guests alike.

Chef Gerwin’s latest brainchild, Unli Steak & Eggs, a lunch event on November 30th, brings together the best of both flagship establishments with unlimited USDA Prime Rib, a live egg station, and an array of sides such as Mushroom Pilaf Rice, Truffle Potato Gratin, Tagaytay Vegetables and Farfalle Pasta with Sundried Tomato Sauce.
