Hotel Okura Manila Welcomes Kirin Brewery

MANILA, Philippines – Hotel Okura Manila’s GM, Mr. Jan Marshall with F&B Manager/Executive Chef Roald Schuur, Yamazato Japanese Executive Chef Rinnosuke Mouri and Okura Nikko Hotel Management’s Head of Operational Planning Division, Mr. Kojiro Oda, welcomed Kirin Brewery Co. Ltd. President and CEO, Takayuki Fuse, EVP Kenji Uchiyama (San Miguel Brewery Inc.) and EVP Fumiaki Ozawa (San Miguel Brewing International Ltd.) on their courtesy visit last month.

Kirin Ichiban: 100% Malt, First Press Beer

New Kirin Ichiban, the popular Japanese premium beer, was made available in the Philippines last year, thanks to San Miguel Brewery. Definitely no ordinary beer, Kirin Ichiban’s crafting process is representative of Japan’s rich culture.

Hotel Okura Manila: Soon to Open

From the prestigious Japanese hotel group, Okura Nikko, with 75 hotels worldwide, Hotel Okura Manila is scheduled to open by latter part of this year and is located within the Resorts World Manila complex in Pasay City.

The Much-Awaited Yamazato

Yamazato, Hotel Okura’s signature fine-dining restaurant, is the first Japanese restaurant in Europe to earn a Michelin star. Yamazato in Manila also opens latter part of this year.
