Fashion Interiors: ‘Hidden gem’ of interior design
Why not welcome the month of November with a new sofa or dining set to spruce up your interiors in time for the holiday season?
There is a shop in Makati City that offers several extraordinary furnishings as well as home accessories. You will surely find here an accent piece perfect for your home.
Fashion Interiors by Paul Cornelissen is a unique store in the Philippines, often referred to as “the hidden gem” of interior design. Instead of opening retail shops in high-end malls, the owners opted to build one unique showroom of 2500 sqm at 2307 Chino Roces Avenue in Makati City, tastefully preserving the industrial elements of the old elevator warehouse it used to be.
Even if its location is only known to few, it has an impressive roster of clientele including former presidents, artists, famous restaurants and resorts.
Every area has a different style of interior: classical, industrial, funky or contemporary, so you can see the concepts in different contexts. It is a one-stop shop for all your furniture, lighting and accessories.

Enjoy a nice cup of coffee in its built-in “Grand Café” area, while receiving advice from designers on what your best options are.
Fashion Interiors has been active in the furniture business for over 40 years. It started in Europe and soon moved its business to the Philippines, where it has been working for the last 35 years. All the furniture is manufactured and designed in Pampanga, supplying well-known brands and stores all over the world. Fashion Interiors sets global trends, maintaining Filipino craftsmanship in all its designs.
Fashion Interiors recently launched its new collection in which it has been inspired by the latest global craze in color, material and style.
You will find a lot of pastel, greens, old rose and rusty colors. There is a lot of velvet used to intensify the warmth and depth of its designs. Like always, the designers are driven to use a lot of recycled materials such as driftwood, railway wood and seashells, which make the furniture sustainable, while giving it an extra charm.
Fashion Interiors wants the showroom to be an inspiration for the people who visit. Well-known and emerging artists are invited to exhibit in its “Hall of Fame.” Currently, it is exhibiting Ivan Acuna’s work. In January, it will start a new exhibition with Sheen Ochavez. Part of the proceedings will be donated to its own foundation, the Nurture the Children Foundation, which supports three orphanages in both Pampanga and Tarlac.
Now that you know where all the renowned people get their fashionable interiors, why not become part of the VIPs and take advantage of Fashion Interiors’ November/December sales, whether it is an investment for your family Christmas shopping or a little personal self-indulgence.
