Castrol Philippines recently introduced its new line of motorcycle lubricants catering to an ever-growing motorcycle market in the country.

With over a century being in the oil and lubricant industry, Castrol has been considered one of the pioneers and a brand leader both locally and internationally. The new Activ 4T oil and the all-new & reformulated Power 1 and Power 1 Racing oil comes in the new 800 ml “Swakto” and one-liter packs. The 800 ml packs offers just the right amount of oil particularly for underbone bikes to ensure no spillage and translates to savings since there will not be any excess oil, which is usually discarded in the bigger packages. The one-liter pack, however, still offers the same level of protection to motorcycle engines while giving the option of the smaller engine bikes and option to store the excess oil which is generally kept to top up the engine oil from time to time.

These new oils will be launched in the “Astig ng Kalsada Road Trip” concert series happening in different parts of the country. Last Saturday, the Quezon Memorial Circle served as venue for the launching of these series with over a hundred motorcycle riders attending.

The “Astig ng Kalsada Road Trip” concert series featured the all-female rock group sensation General Luna. Aside from QC Memorial Circle, other tours will be held in La Union, Batangas, and Davao City. These events will be participated by various regional riding clubs all over the country. The concert series will also include safety riding advocacies on responsible riding as Castrol forged an exclusive partnership with the Motorcycle Philippines Federation of the Philippines (MCPF) to help deliver that all-important message of responsible and safe riding among the motorcycle owners as Castrol and MCPF redefines the meaning of the street slang “astig” (meaning tough guy) as someone who ride his bike safely and responsibly earning the respect of his fellow riders as well as pedestrians and motorists.

These all-new motorcycle oils offer a different level of protection depending on the type of motorcycles. The new Castrol Activ 4T with Activ Protection Molecules is a high-quality engine oil developed specifically for 4-stroke motorcycle engines. From cold starts, stop-start traffic or even high speed riding, the special Activ Protection Molecules of the Activ 4T ensure that the oil clings on to all the critical engine components, providing lubrication and effective protection in all types of riding conditions. While the all-new Power1 4T with Trizone Technology, on the other hand, is an advanced premium quality 4-stroke engine oil designed for high performance and sports bikes.

The oil’s fast-flowing Power Release formula has been specially formulated to reduce friction in the engine enabling the engine to give optimal performance.
