Coca-Cola FEMSA Philippines (KOFPH) has “taken note” of the points raised by labor unions after the company decided to cut down on hundreds of its workers.

In a statement sent to the Inquirer, KOFPH said that they acknowledge and respect the voice of all unions, noting that they “always seek to uphold the rights and dignity of all our associates over any economic consideration.”

“This restructuring has been a very difficult decision. We have the utmost respect for our employees, and we have strived for fairness in executing every facet of our reorganization. Rest assured that KOF PH strictly adhered to all legally mandated processes in restructuring the company,” the statement read.
