Seeing Kapitolyo at a ‘vantage’ point
It is proving to be the perfect fit for a bustling Kapitolyo.
Beyond ticking off the usual essentials sought by any homebuyer, this latest project from Rockwell Primaries notably has a design that primarily focuses on the location as both “a vantage point and a convenience.”
Hence, it was aptly named as The Vantage at Kapitolyo.
Located at the corner of West Capitol Drive and United Street in Pasig, this high-rise development will feature two towers that, as with the other Rockwell projects, also offer a menu of “pluses”, from its strategic location and accessibility, exceptional amenities, exclusivity, and flexible residential units designed to cater to the demands of an urban lifestyle.
Vertical village

It was designed to be flexible in both use and size, giving rise to the concept of a multi-functional modern home.
According to Rochelle Baylon, Rockwell Primaries AVP for Design and Construction, part of this “vertical village is a two-level retail component, with carefully curated outlets, reminiscent of that ‘hole-in-the-wall’ retail concepts that have since sprouted in the Kapitolyo area.”
“And this is where the convenience of city living comes to play. The convenience of just going down and get the services you need, a few steps away. Also, it’s perfect for the work-life balance,” she further noted.
Designed for city living
According to Rockwell Primaries, it designed The Vantage in such a way that it can bring the comfort and convenience of city living to its clients—most especially that The Vantage is located at the heart of four major central business districts: Bonifacio Global City, Ortigas, Mandaluyong and Makati.
“Where a close-knit residential community meets the evolution of commercial hubs, we had to create a balance and give the future residents, right sized, highly functional living spaces at a reasonable price and at the same time prioritize quality, safety and security that the Rockwell brand has been known for,” Baylon explained.
“And while the overarching concept for this development bears mainly on its strategic location, we also want to give residents the advantage of not only being in the center of CBDs, but also being surrounded by prime establishments that they can choose from,” she further said.
Sustainable features
The thrust for sustainability, of course, is a Rockwell standard.
One of such feature is the gray water tank, which will collect rainwater that can be used to water its landscaping and other cleaning requirements. It also ensures that it will be able to meet the “green requirements” set by the city government of Pasig.
“These sustainable features enhance the values and disposition of our young unit owners that are into green and sustainability design and awareness of environmental concerns,” Baylon said.
At the amenity deck meanwhile, one can enjoy the “comfort” of lush greeneries, lawns and pool for both kids and adults.
And while The Vantage has the amenities one can find in most Rockwell developments, its most unique feature would be the Sky Deck, where residents can marvel at the vibrant city skylines and breathtaking mountains towards the east.
“This feature gives The Vantage its literal vantage point and highlights the selling point of the development,” she added.
Seamless blend
According to Baylon, The Vantage amenities, main lobbies, and façade have the Rockwell signature, together with the open, landscaped areas for its stakeholders to enjoy and appreciate.
“The mix of live, work and play with our residential location, proximity to the workplaces, and our retail shops at the ground and second floor all contribute to the Rockwell signature concept while adding to the vibrancy of the Kapitolyo community. The retail shop storefront is also envisioned to be of different styles and concept per tenant, with a blend and connectedness to the Kapitolyo vibe, similar to the dynamic restaurants and bars within the village,” she said.
By 2020, it is expected that future residents will start enjoying “the ideal and quality home carrying the Rockwell standards of living.”
“It supplements the fast-paced lives of future homeowners enjoying the city living experience by providing them a safe, secure, accessible home located in a close knit neighborhood of Kapitolyo,” Baylon concluded.
