Whirlpool Supports Local Communities through Nutrition Drive

It has been increasingly hard for working parents to provide nutritious food for their children. Because of this, Whirlpool, the leading appliance brand of home appliances, and a company dedicated to making the world a little easier, organized a nutrition drive at Lapu-Lapu Elementary School in Tondo, Manila.

At present, majority of underprivileged Filipino families—with the parents mostly working two or more jobs to make ends meet—do not have enough resources to feed their children properly. While we, as a country, are taking small steps to improve this condition, Whirlpool hopes to make an impact on local communities by supporting the proper nourishment of children through this series of feeding programs that they will be conducting.
