Christmas in the Philippines has always been a special occasion. It has been a season for families to spend time together, and enjoy the pageantry and solemnity of Christmas.

We have communities that have organized belen-making contests, Christmas light shows, exchanging of gifts, and outreach programs.

Providing families with a Christmas filled with opportunities to spend time together will hopefully make the season more meaningful for them.

The houses that we provide are tailor fit to the needs of the common Filipino. Making these houses affordable for families is just one way for us to help them meet their aspirations of having their own homes and providing shelters for their loved ones.

However, more than building houses, we want to build living spaces for families where they can belong in communities that cater to their needs and enhance their everyday living.

More than a house, we want to provide families with a complete home. I have often observed that the people who need the most help have the simplest wishes—a roof over their heads, food in their bellies, and clothes on their backs or it can also be as simple as having someone to talk to and listen to them.
