Megaworld group’s leisure estate arm Global-Estate Resorts Inc. (GERI) has brought P2 billion worth of new residential inventory to Tagaytay’s property market with the launch of a new enclave inspired by Swiss mountainside living.

The new residential project, called the Manor, draws its design inspiration from the chalets of Swiss Alps, as residential development is nestled at the mountainous landscape of the 1,200-hectare Twin Lakes development.

The residential units are selling for about P160,000 to P180,000 per square meter.

“Residents will have an ultimate European experience of living at the Manor. Everyone can enjoy the cool breeze of Tagaytay while enjoying the naturally serene backdrop of the township. They will have a wonderful time relaxing with nature as they settle in the development’s comforts,” Glennford Heraldo, vice president for sales and marketing at GERI, said in a press statement.

The chalet-inspired home will feature a prominent balcony in each unit, opening to the great outdoors and offering a view of the famous Taal Lake.

Aside from the township’s leisure and recreational amenities, the project offers future residents and guests with two exclusive amenity decks, which include a swimming pool with lounge and spa, a function hall, a business center, a fitness center, a game room, as well as outdoor amenities and a children’s play area.

The new enclave is located within the Twin Lake’s The Vineyard, the 1.3-hectare residential phase of the township. Unit owners at the Manor will have the privilege to set up residence alongside the very first vineyard in the Philippines. The 10-hectare vineyard promises a stunning landscape of tidy rows of grape-dotted vines, seeking to mirror renowned vineyards in Tuscany and Napa Valley.

“Within the comfort of a Swiss-inspired home, the Manor will exude the rustic charm of a European living, wherein residents can have a picturesque life in the cold countryside,” Heraldo said.

The Vineyard will be overseen by Filipino farmer-scientist Avelino Lomboy. Meanwhile, Spanish consultants will be in charge of aging brandies and wines made from the grapes produced at The Vineyard. The products will then be stored and showcased in a traditional wine chateau. Named the Chateau Winery, the French-inspired cellar will be located next to Twin Lake’s beautiful man-made lake.

Twin Lakes is Tagaytay’s largest tourism estate, offering expansive nature space linked by residential villas, condominiums, townhouses, hotel and resort, commercial and retail hubs, and leisure facilities.

Megaworld, which owns 82.3-percent of GERI, has taken an aggressive role in transforming the latter’s vast land bank into integrated urban townships, the concept that Megaworld pioneered in the Philippines.
