Hub for small business to open in BGC
After targeting mainly traditional establishments and business process outsourcing firms, Fort Bonifacio Development Corp., the developer of Bonifacio Global City, is now looking at small enterprises for its newly opened co-working space, Square One BGC.
Eli Yaneza, FBDC manager for business development, property planning and office leasing, said the firm supported SMEs by giving them the chance to grow their ventures in one of the country’s key business districts at a fraction of the normal cost.
“BGC has been attracting the creative class. They are the game-changers that may one day become another Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs,” said Yaneza. “We want to have a venue in BGC that provides the perfect environment for them.”
Yaneza said it was about time for FBDC to tap an under-served market—the startup businesses—and offer them these small spaces.
For as low as P600 a day or P12,500 a month, anyone can get his own office space in the 600 square-meter facility, which can house a total of 180 seats.
Clients can choose from available small offices that can fit three to 14 workers and desks within the facility’s large social hall and library.
