Philippine Realty TV ends ‘Search for the Superstar Sellers’

Philippine Realty TV, the country’s longest-running real estate TV show, recently concluded its “Search for the Superstar Sellers” in partnership with mass housing developer 8990 Holdings. The country’s first reality series for real estate sales agents finally came to a successful culmination as the contestants faced several chalstastar lenges to win this competition.
In a surprise announcement to the series contestants, call center account specialist Benjamina “Benj” Buyson-De Omaña from Taytay, Rizal, was proclaimed the very first winner of the real estate sales agent search. The contest employed a points system format that awarded points for every successful sale and buyer brought in to view the model units of 8990 Holdings.
Contestants were tasked to sell the projects of 8990 Holdings under its Deca Homes brand namely; Deca Clark Resort Residences in Pampanga, Urban Deca Towers in Muntinlupa and Urban Deca Homes Campville in Muntinlupa. Challenges for the contestants ranged from recruiting other agents, to pulling in potential clients straight from the streets to bring them to the model units, where the contestants made their sales presentations.
Aside from the commission from sales she was able to bring in, Buyson-De Omaña won an appliance showcase and overnight staycation from Philippine Realty TV’s brokerage firm Realty Emporium, as well as an overnight stay in Azalea Hotel Baguio from 8990 Holdings.
‘Never give up’
8990 Holdings president Januario Jesus Atencio III addressed the contestants and assuaged them on the hardships they have faced in their selling career so far. He says: “Never give up. There’s a lot of rejection. But successful sales people realize that rejection is still part of the game. If your client rejects you, it is merely that it is not the right time for him to buy real estate. But what you have is a power that you now possess so that you can go out, fulfill your clients’ dreams, and make him the better person through buying a house that he was meant to be.”

Runner-up for the search was former OFW Jennifer Lalic, an HR practitioner from the call center industry. Contestant Marvin Umandap, a former banker, received a special award from MyProperty.ph managing director Jackie Van Ende for winning the MyProperty Digital Marketing Challenge.
