Aussie firm expands Clark operations

Australian outsourcing firm Beepo is set to expand its operations in Clark, Pampanga, by increasing its workforce to about 5,000 workers in the next five years.

The company now has 200 workers since it started operations in April 2014, the state-run Clark Development Corp. (CDC) said Friday.

Beepo chief executive Aimee Engelmann was quoted as saying that the company, which has invested some P13.2 million for its operations within the freeport, plans to hire 1,000 personnel every year to help fill the growing demand for their services.

“We have a long-term vision to grow and remain in the area (Clark). I could see an opportunity to combine the fantastic talents here in the Philippines and pair it up with Australian businesses,” Engelmann said.

The head of Beepo added the company and the state-run firm are currently working together to invite other Australian firms to invest within the Clark Freeport.

“We’ve been working together to find those clients who wants to invest long-term in the Philippines. A few of our clients have also decided to create their own companies in the Philippines as well,” she said.

Engelmann further said that Clark, as an investment location, has a “bright future” given its existing facilities and infrastructure.

Beepo currently offers an array of services including graphic design, digital marketing, social media, sales and lead generation, sales support, human resources support, administration and bookkeeping and business startup, among others.

Beepo has already opened job opportunities for several positions including, among others, human resources manager, finance expert, graphic designer, accountant, and customer service representatives.
