Local solar power company offers easy payment options

Business owners can now tap solar power at zero down payment with the freedom to choose their term length as Solar Philippines said it has launched the pay-what-you-save business program for companies looking to break free from highest-in-the-world electricity rates.

“Solar has gained the reputation of being expensive, not because of the technology, but because previous efforts were too small to benefit from economies of scale,” Solar Philippines president Leandro L. Leviste said.

Pay-what-you-save business program aims to provide businesses an alternative solution to their power needs amid a backdrop of a looming power crisis and a global shift to clean, renewable energy.

By promoting a distributed generation model, electricity is generated on-site and allows consumers to be co-producers of electricity, lessening dependence on electricity supplied by the grid.
