PAL flights to the US normal
MANILA, Philippines–Flights of Philippine Airlines to the US will remain normal despite the general shutdown of the US Federal Government that took effect midnight of Oct. 1.
In an advisory issued Tuesday, PAL said its flights to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Honolulu and Guam will continue based on the declaration by the US Department of Homeland Security “that TSA (Transportation Security Administration) operations will not be impacted” by the US government shutdown. The statement was issued by Brian Cahill, Federal Security Director, Homeland Security Department.
