Cebu Pacific sets special flights to and from Zamboanga

MANILA, Philippines–Cebu Pacific on Tuesday announced special flights to and from Zamboanga on the following dates:
October 1 and 3, 2013 special flights
5J 433 Cebu-Zamboanga (ETD 10:45H, ETA 11:45H)
5J 434 Zamboanga-Cebu (ETD 12:25H, ETA 13:25H)
5J 859 Manila-Zamboanga (ETD 08:10H, ETA 09:50H)
5J 860 Zamboanga – Manila (ETD 10:30H, ETA 12:10H)
5J 857 Manila-Zamboanga (ETD 11:05H, ETA 12:45H)
5J 858 Zamboanga – Manila (ETD 13:25H, ETA 15:05H)
October 2, 2013 special flights
5J 433 Cebu-Zamboanga (ETD 07:45H, ETA 08:45H)
5J 434 Zamboanga-Cebu (ETD 09:25H, ETA 10:25H)
5J 851 Manila-Zamboanga (ETD 08:35H, ETA 10:05H)

In an advisory, CEB asked guests who wish to be accommodated on the special flights to proceed to
any organic Cebu Pacific Ticketing Office in Manila or Summit World ticket office at the Zamboanga Airport, or call Cebu Pacific’s reservation numbers (02)7020-888 or (032)230-8888.
It also asked guests booked on these special flights to check in at the airport early, and to cooperate with the special security procedures at the airport. Bags may be checked-in both ways.
Cebu Pacific had cancelled the following flights on these dates, due to the security situation in Zamboanga:
October 1-3, 2013 cancelled flights
5J 839 / 840 Zamboanga – Tawi-Tawi – Zamboanga
5J 393 / 394 Davao – Zamboanga – Davao
5J 855 / 856 Manila – Zamboanga – Manila
5J 851 / 852 Manila – Zamboanga – Manila (October 1 and 3 only)
CEB guests originally booked on these flights still have the option to rebook or reroute to the nearest alternate station with no penalties, or get full travel fund or full refund. It asked them to call the Cebu Pacific reservation numbers, any time even after their flights.
CEB said it was hoping for its guests’ understanding as this situation was beyond the airline’s control. It promised to continue providing updates as soon as available.
