Chevrolet Philippines opens showroom in Cagayan de Oro

The Covenant Car Co. Inc., the exclusive importer and distributor of Chevrolet brand of vehicles and parts in the Philippines, makes a journey down south as it welcomes another showroom, which it set up together with its trusted and longtime partner Grandcars Inc.

As the first Chevrolet showroom in Mindanao to sport the new Chevrolet dealership “corporate identity,” Chevrolet Cagayan de Oro (CDO)features the iconic fritted glass fascia signage, 15-meter-tall pylon post and a family-friendly atmosphere that invites Cagayan de Oro customers and neighboring areas to come and experience Chevrolet’s signature services.

A fitting series of grand opening events were held to make the celebration truly memorable. A Chevrolet CDO Bankers’ Night on Nov. 14 was held for the brand’s finance and insurance partners, where everyone was treated to an exclusive look at the latest Chevrolet models and live entertainment in the background with an intention to the strengthen the partnership between the Grancars Inc. and the banks for the benefit of Chevrolet CDO’s customers.

Chevrolet CDO has a sprawling service workshop equipped with all the latest Chevrolet technology and tools along with technicians that are highly trained and skilled. With amenities for customers that include a WiFi-ready showroom and relaxing customer lounge, every visit is sure to make any one feel welcomed and comfortable. Chevrolet CDO officially opened its doors to serve its customers last Nov. 16 at Kauswagan Highway, Brgy. Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro.

Establish mark

TCCCI president and managing director Alberto Arcilla acknowledges this important event: “Cagayan de Oro’s progressive economy and growing automotive market syncs well into the growth targets of Chevrolet. The opportunity to establish our mark in Cagayan de Oro and being able to serve the automotive requirements of Cagayan de Oro through Grandcars Inc., with our new and exciting products like the Chevrolet Colorado Pickup Truck and the Trailblazer mid-size SUV, makes this event even more significant. We will continue to offer our growing lineup of vehicles and provide Cagayan de Oro with the ‘Chevrolet Experience’ of excellent customer service with the same passion and dedication that we’ve imprinted in our current 19 dealer network nationwide.”

Also during the event, Grandcar Inc.’s president, Peter Po, expressed his full support to the company’s partnership with Chevrolet Philippines, and said that the launch of Grandcars’ third Chevrolet franchise—the Chevrolet CDO—was definitely not the last.

“The track record of TCCCI and its management group, coupled with our extensive experience in automotive dealership management, will make this new venture interesting to watch. There is great potential for growth in Mindanao, and we’ve made a commitment to be a part of it by providing the people of Mindanao Chevrolet products and services that are truly world-class,” he said.

Just as grand was the Nov. 16 celebration that invited members of the media as well as key local government officials. Indeed, it was a night that evoked Chevrolet as a classy, comfortable and exciting brand of car to own.
