Property developer Century Properties Group (CPG) launched on Wednesday its fifth residential tower at its Acqua Private Residences complex in Mandaluyong from which it expects to unlock P3.5 billion in sales revenue over the next few years.
The new Acqua Iguazu tower is a collaboration with internationally acclaimed interior design brand “yoo inspired by Starck,” which is founded by French designer Philippe Starck and British real estate entrepreneur John Hitchcox. Hitchcox was in town to grace the project launch on Wednesday.
“We continue to establish international collaboration because the local market has shown its readiness for branded real estate,” said CPG chief operating officer and managing director Marco Antonio in a press statement.
Antonio also told reporters that since the soft launch of the new tower, which will cost P1.7 billion to build, about 10 percent of the units had already been sold.
Similar to the brisk take-up of the earlier towers in Acqua, he said all units in this new building would likely be sold out in five months.
The building brings to the property market 400 units ranging from one-bedroom units at 26 to 42 square meters, two-bedroom units at 78-101 sqm and three-bedroom units at 96-115 sqm. The average selling price is P150,000 per square meter. The units will be turned over to buyers by the fourth quarter of 2018.
Acqua Iguazu will top off at more than 50 stories and will have a multilevel amenity deck called “Cielo,” which is interior-designed by yoo inspired by Starck. The crown of the building will bear a spherical design statement, a tribute to the sun and moon, which will cast rays like the sun by day and illuminate like the moon at night.
Three interior design themes drawing inspiration from minimalism, nature and culture were showcased at the Acqua Iguazu showroom.
