Call center conference set Aug. 2-3
Now that the Philippines is considered the No. 1 destination for outsourced voice services worldwide, the Philippine contact center industry needs to secure its position and grow further. ‘‘Sustaining the Lead, Expanding Opportunities” is the theme for this year’s International Contact Center Conference and Expo 2011, the flagship event of the Contact Center of the Philippines (CCAP), to be held on Aug. 2-3 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
CCAP is the trade group that represents 72 global and local contact centers operating in the Philippines. Now on its seventh run, the International Contact Center Conference and Expo is the industry’s largest gathering of contact center professionals, drawing 7,000 conference delegates and exhibit visitors from all over the world.
‘‘With the Philippines now tagged as the global leader for outsourced voice services, the International Contact Center Conference and Expo is a great platform to present industry trends and share best practices,” CCAP president Benedict Hernandez said in a press statement.
Organizers said the conference and expo features a diverse mix of speakers and panelists from within and outside the call center industry, ensuring a rich learning experience. It also offers a venue to network with key stakeholders in the industry, including government officials, executives, investors, journalists, analysts, vendors, and service providers.
One of the highlights of the conference is CCAP’s ‘‘State of the Industry” report. “This year is particularly special since CCAP is celebrating its tenth anniversary,” Hernandez said.
The exposition, on the other hand, will showcase the industry’s latest solutions from the leading vendors, suppliers, and service providers, such as call center systems, software applications, telecommunications infrastructure, office space and equipment, recruitment and training, and peripheral services.
