MANILA, Philippines—Citibank has teamed up with tycoon Andrew Tan-led property developer Megaworld Corp. to roll out a co-branded credit card product that offers perks in the latter’s various retail and recreational hubs.
This partnership seeks to raise the bar on credit card benefits instantly available to customers and to bring unique privileges suited to the clientele of Megaworld’s various property developments.
For instance, the new Megaworld Citibank card offers foodies an immediate 5 percent rebate on their meal and for shopaholics, a 3 percent rebate right away on shopping sprees. An outright 1 percent rebate is also offered on groceries.
For even greater rewards, rebates will increase to 5 percent for shopping and groceries at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls for a minimum spend of P15,000. Participating malls include Megaworld’s Eastwood Mall, Eastwood City Walk, Newport Mall at Resorts World Manila, Lucky Chinatown, Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill and Burgos Circle at Forbes Town Center.
For a minimum single transaction spend of P2,500, cardholders can also get a free movie ticket, redeemable at Eastwood, Newport and Lucky Chinatown Cinemas or they can avail of a free parking pass for Megaworld Lifestyle Malls and Paseo Center in Makati.
Cardholders will also be given preview sales and exclusive seats at Megaworld concerts and events as well as exclusive hotel offers.
