European stocks close mixed

PARIS—Leading European stock markets were mixed on Tuesday, with London’s FTSE 100 index of top companies closing just 0.02 percent lower at 5,792.19 points.

In Frankfurt, the DAX 30 rallied 1.34 percent to 7,310.11 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 gained 0.89 percent to 3,537.30 points.
