Bayantel targets logistics industry
Bayan Telecommunications Inc. (Bayantel) is targeting more customers in the logistics industry as the company tries to grow its corporate business segment.
Bayan Business, the company’s corporate solutions arm, recently announced its expanded capability to service the air cargo and freight logistics industry, focusing on Pasay and Parañaque areas where most logistics companies are based.
“This portion of Metro Manila has established itself to become the acknowledged premier cargo hub of the country mainly due to its proximity to the major international airport terminals,” Bayantel chief operating officer Rafael Aguado said.
He said the area near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) terminals was where most cargo operators’ head offices were located.
