Hong Kong stocks down 1.03% by break

Hong Kong–Hong Kong stocks ended the morning session 1.03 percent lower on Friday following big losses on Wall Street and after Moody’s downgraded 15 of the world’s biggest banks.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index lost 197.56 points to 19,067.51 on turnover of HK$18.95 billion ($2.45 billion).
