Developments in the local capital market and how these impact on financing availability for government priority projects as well as corporate expansion will headline the 6th Philippine Forum on July 12 in Makati Shangri-La.
The forum is hosted by The Asset, a regional financial publishing and research house based in Hong Kong, and the Fund Managers Association of the Philippines.
Finance Secretary Cesar V. Purisima and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Amando M. Tetangco Jr. will be the keynote speakers. They are expected to outline the recent reforms and initiatives in the capital market industry.
The forum highlights three panel discussions that will focus on the economy, capital market and governance and key industries.
The overview discussion on the Philippine economy and where it is headed will be led by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Deputy Governor Diwa C. Guinigundo; Karen Liza M. Rosa, president and CEO, Philam Asset Management; Francis Chua, president, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Hans B. Sicat, president, Philippine Stock Exchange; Eduardo M. Olbes, executive vice president, Security Bank Corp. and Sanjiv Vohra, country officer, Citi Philippines.
