Suarez scores Aquino underspending

MANILA, Philippines – House minority leader Danilo Suarez said on Wednesday that the Aquino administration’s overcautious spending behavior has resulted in weak business activities, rising unemployment and hunger.

In an interview with Radyo inquirer 990 AM, Suarez said the government’s underspending has severely affected some businesses last year and he is glad that the administration has finally realized that it must increase public spending to promote growth.
