Oil companies slash fuel prices

Six oil firms  will slash pump prices starting Tuesday to reflect lower prices in the international oil market.

Petron Corp., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Chevron Philippines Inc., Seaoil Philippines Inc. and Eastern Petroleum Corp. will implement a rollback effective 12:01 a.m. while Phoenix Petroleum Philippines will cut prices at 6 a.m.

The price rollback will range from 60 to 70 centavos per liter of premium and regular gasoline: 30 to 40 centavos per liter of  diesel, and 40 centavos per liter of kerosene.
