For decades, logistics has been regarded as a traditionally male-dominated field. Today, 2GO Group, Inc. is helping reshape that narrative by fostering a workplace where women contribute meaningfully across operations, leadership, and technical roles.

As one of the country’s leading logistics solutions providers, women now make up 43% of 2GO’s workforce, with many holding key leadership and operational positions across the organization. From port terminals and warehouses to corporate offices, women continue to play an important role in moving the company forward while demonstrating how inclusive workplaces strengthen business performance.

Growing With the Company

For many women in the organization, their professional journeys have grown alongside the company itself.

Throughout its more than 100 years of operations, 2GO has not only welcomed women into the logistics industry but has also created opportunities for them to build careers within the organization.

Leah Magdamit, Head of Business Development at 2GO Forwarding, is among the leaders helping grow the business as the company continues to expand its services.

“At 2GO, leaders are empowered to make an impact. That trust pushes us to bring out the best not only in ourselves but also in the people around us. With this support, we rise beyond expectations, push boundaries, seize opportunities, and contribute to the company’s growth—because true leadership is not just about driving results, but about empowering others and creating lasting impact.”

Similarly, Merlit Nava, Senior Operations Manager for 2GO Express Hubs Operations, has built her career overseeing warehouse operations and managing the movement of cargo through one of the company’s busiest logistics environments.

“Warehouse operations require constant coordination—from supervising cargo movement and managing teams to ensuring shipments flow efficiently through our facilities. It is demanding work, but 2GO has always been a place where people are trusted to lead based on their performance. I have always felt supported in my role, and that trust encourages me to keep improving and contributing to the company’s success.”

For Mannilyn Ariola, Senior Manager for Transport, Cross-dock and Warehouse Operations of 2GO Contract Logistics, years of dedication have allowed her to grow alongside the company’s expanding logistics network.

“Working in logistics involves many moving parts. It takes patience, coordination, and attention to detail to keep everything running smoothly. When I started working with 2GO four years ago, it was easy to settle into the daily tasks because of the strong support systems in place. The values the company instills remind us that our roles matter and allow us to grow into roles where we can make meaningful contributions.”

Leading on the Frontlines

Women at 2GO are also present where logistics operations happen in real time—at ports, warehouses, and cargo facilities.

Milen Jabson, Passage Terminal Operations Manager for 2GO Travel, oversees passenger terminal operations to ensure safe and smooth travel experiences for thousands of passengers each day.

“My role requires constant coordination with teams on the ground to ensure passengers move through the terminal safely and efficiently. It can mean working outdoors, responding quickly to operational challenges, and managing different stakeholders throughout the day. In 2GO, the focus has always been on the work and the results we deliver. You are trusted based on your capability, and that trust motivates me to perform my role to the best of my ability.”

Erly Reyes-Geronimo, Freight Documentation Manager for Sea Freight Operations, finds fulfillment in supporting businesses that rely on maritime logistics to move goods across the country.

“Our work helps businesses move cargo across seas and reach markets throughout the Philippines, so there is a strong sense of purpose in what we do. Over the years, I have been given responsibilities that helped me grow professionally. In 2GO, opportunities are shaped by dedication and performance. When you show that you can contribute and deliver results, the company gives you the space to keep growing.”

Even in specialized logistics operations, women continue to demonstrate their expertise.

Lala Torreno, Assistant Vice President for Sales of 2GO SCVASI, 2GO’s specialized logistics solutions arm, shared how competence defines success in their field.

“As supply chains become more complex, more women are contributing to their organizations through strategic thinking, attention to detail, strong communication, adaptability, and emotional intelligence—traits that help manage operations, coordinate teams, and solve logistical challenges. In 2GO, roles are not defined by gender but by capability, creating equal opportunities for women. By breaking barriers and leading across roles in shipping, trucking, warehousing, supply chain management, and logistics technology, women continue to redefine industry standards and play a vital role in the movement of people and products.”

Expanding Opportunities

As the Philippines continues to make progress in addressing gender gaps, businesses also play an important role in ensuring that opportunities remain accessible to everyone. At 2GO, career advancement is guided by skills, performance, and leadership potential —reflecting the company’s commitment to building a future-ready workplace.

As the logistics solutions provider continues to connect businesses and communities across the country, women remain integral to that progress—driving innovation, operational excellence, and leadership within one of the nation’s most essential industries.

At 2GO, opportunities move forward—because for those ready to grow, the future is #Ready2GOForYou.
