MANILA, Philippines — The P5-billion port and industrial complex in Batangas province has commenced its operations, designed to boost trade and logistics.
In a statement on Thursday, Sinisian Lemery Batangas Port and Industrial Park Corp. (SLBPIPC) said the hub features three major components—a port, a cement silo and a fuel depot.
The company said it accelerated the development of the logistics and supply chain hub, which had started after the COVID pandemic.
“We are now fully operating and actively serving our locators,” SLBPIPC CEO Ferdinand Co said.
A key feature of the industrial park is the deep-water port facilities that will fulfill locators’ industrial port and warehousing needs for import, export and distribution.
