BIZ BUZZ: Nestlé Philippines names new Chairman and CEO

Nestlé Philippines, Inc. has a new leader.

Nestlé Philippines announced the appointment of Mauricio Alarcón as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer effective July 2025, succeeding Kais Marzouki who has been designated Head of Nestlé Greater China Region.

As Alarcón takes the helm of Nestlé Philippines, he looks forward to building a new chapter in its success, and continue making a difference for its consumers, communities, and employees, the company said.

He brings with him over 25 years of experience in the Nestlé business across multiple countries, leadership roles, and functions.

Born in Mexico, he earned his master’s degree in engineering at the University of Manchester, after which he began his career with an industrial group, then worked in banking before joining Nestlé Mexico in 1999.

“Joining Nestlé Philippines is both an honor and a responsibility. Together with our teams and our partners, my aspiration is to take our business to new levels, in doing good for Filipinos and the planet. In an increasingly complex and ever-changing environment, we can only achieve our goals by working together,” he said.

The Philippines is an important post as it is one of the 10 biggest among over 180 Nestlé S.A. markets worldwide.
