MANILA, Philippines – The Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines, the country’s premier organization of finance professionals, has joined calls urging lawmakers to act on the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte to avoid hurting public trust.
“The ongoing impeachment process is a mechanism that creates guardrails for the people who execute the process and make them follow the path of the framework as stated in our 1987 Constitution. No digression, no delays, no backsliding, no shortcuts,” FINEX said in a statement.
