STI 9-month income surges 45%
MANILA, Philippines — STI Education Systems Holdings Inc. saw a 45-percent surge in earnings in the first nine months of its fiscal year covering July 2024 to March 2025 as more students enrolled in its schools.
In a stock exchange filing on Thursday, STI said its bottom line had jumped to P1.62 billion from P1.12 billion in the same period last year.
Revenues likewise soared by 23 percent to P4.14 billion.
“The significant net income hike was mainly driven by higher enrollment numbers due to strong demand for the quality education offered by subsidiaries STI Education Services Group, STI West Negros University and iACADEMY,” the company said in its disclosure.
The Eusebio Tanco-led company saw the student population in its schools increase by 15 percent to 138,060 in school year 2024 to 2025.
