DigiPlus doubles profit, sets Brazil debut by Q4
MANILA, Philippines — DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is on track to expand its overseas operations after incorporating its international hub, with its Brazil business ready to begin by the fourth quarter.
In a stock exchange filing on Wednesday, the company led by tycoon Eusebio Tanco said DigiPlus Global Pte. Ltd. would “set the stage for broader growth opportunities.”
“DigiPlus aims to bring the success it has established in the Philippines to participate in the thriving digital entertainment and electronic gaming industry globally,” said Tanco, chair of DigiPlus.
This comes as DigiPlus more than doubled its profit in the first three months of the year to P4.2 billion. Its revenues likewise surged by 69 percent to P23.06 billion, on the back of higher gains from BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone.
“Our performance in the first quarter shows that we are building not just for scale, but for long-term value creation,” Tanco said.

Offshore expansion
“By anchoring our international presence in Singapore—one of the world’s most advance business ecosystems—we are accelerating DigiPlus’ transformation into a globally recognized force in digital entertainment.”
Its Brazil operations will also begin following the appointment of Graham Tidey, DigiPlus’ country manager for the South American country.
In January, DigiPlus secured a license to operate sports betting and other online games in Brazil, costing the company around $6 million.

This comes as DigiPlus more than doubled its profit in the first three months of the year to P4.2 billion as its flagship platforms continued to attract patrons.
Its revenues likewise surged by 69 to P23.06 billion, on the back of higher gains from BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone.
Value creation
“Our performance in the first quarter shows that we are building not just for scale, but for long-term value creation,” Tanco said.
The company currently has at least 40 million registered users, led by its flagship game BingoPlus.
The move of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. to slash fee rates for electronic games operators likewise contributed to growth, according to DigiPlus.
To recall, the gaming regulator cut the fee it collects from e-games to 30 percent from 35 percent beginning Jan. 1.
During the period, DigiPlus contributed P8.8 billion in taxes and regulatory fees, up by 28 percent versus the same period in 2024.
