Singaporean firm takes over American BPO operating in Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — Singapore-based business process outsourcing (BPO) firm TDCX has acquired an American BPO company with operations in the Philippines, citing the growing global demand for outsourced services.
In a statement on Monday, TDCX said it has taken over United States-headquartered Open Access BPO, a move that will help the company “capitalize on the global shift towards strategic outsourcing.”
But both companies will continue to operate under their respective brands to ensure a seamless transition for employees, clients and partners.
The acquisition is expected to complement TDCX’s decision to expand its presence in the Philippines and Taiwan.
Founded in 2006, Open Access BPO is a provider of end-to-end business operations support to global blue-chip companies in the health care, technology, financial services, e-commerce and human capital management industries.
