LRT-1 to extend operations by 30 min on weekdays

MANILA, Philippines – The operations of Light Rail Manila Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) will be extended by 30 minutes on weekdays starting Mar. 26.

Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC), the private operator of LRT-1, announced on Tuesday that the departure of the last train at Dr. Santos station and Fernando Poe Jr. station will be adjusted to 10:30 pm and 10:45 pm, respectively.

“LRMC supports the call of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to provide extended service for the benefit of the riding public,” LRMC president and CEO Enrico Benipayo said.
