(UPDATED TO CORRECT FIGURE, LOGO) MANILA, Philippines – Cebu-based listed firm Vivant Corp.’s attributable net income rose 4 percent to a record high of P2.4 billion in 2024 from P1.9 billion the previous year due to better earnings from its power business.
“The year 2024 was a record year for Vivant Corporation, led by its energy business which saw double digit growth in earnings. Meanwhile, our business development teams in both energy and water continued to lay the groundwork for the company’s future growth,” Vivant CEO Arlo Sarmiento said.
Power generation accounted for 64 percent or P2.2 billion of last year’s income.
Meanwhile, consolidated revenues rose by 48 percent to P12.2 billion, mainly due to the combined effect of higher sales volumes from certain power generation assets, retail electricity supply and solar rooftop business.
