DoubleDragon appoints new president

MANILA, Philippines — DoubleDragon Corp. is set to welcome a new president, Rodolfo Ma. Ponferrada, effective March 1.
He will succeed Ferdinand Sia, who is promoted as vice chair of the company. Sia will also remain a director.

Edgar Injap Sia II will remain as CEO and chairman while Tony Tan Caktiong will also stay as co-chair.

Ponferrada, a former managing partner of Ponferrada & San Juan Law Office, previously served as president of Alphaland. He was also the general counsel of the RVO (Robert V. Ongpin) Group of Companies.
The incoming president placed number 1 in the 2001 Philippine Bar Examinations.
