Rich, colorful living experience awaits at Acqua Livingstone

LIVINGSTONE will be the first residential building in the world to bear the colorful mark of the Missonihome.

It has always been about going beyond firsts, dreams and perhaps, even one’s wildest imagination.

After all, bringing together affluent personalities and upscale global brands under one roof to provide that authentic mark of luxury in every property development, definitely takes an ingenious mind and a leap of faith as well.

So after Donald Trump, Paris Hilton and Versace, Century Properties is again marking a first not only in the Philippines, but in the global scene as well: It has partnered with MissoniHome for the 52-story Acqua Livingstone tower, the fourth of six condominium towers within the P13.5-billion Acqua Private Residences project.

According to Century Properties, this will be the first residential building in the world to bear the colorful mark of the MissoniHome, a creative extension of the Italian Missoni aesthetic in furniture, home accessories and interior design.

Rich, colorful experience

The Acqua Livingstone tower, the company adds, will provide residents with a rich and colorful experience that can be had from a MissoniHome-designed space, which is not available elsewhere except in the Missoni-branded hotels in Edinburgh and Kuwait.

“As a consistent industry innovator, Century Properties has earned the confidence of different global brands as collaborators for its developments. MissoniHome is a proud addition to this roster,” says Century Properties managing director Robbie Antonio, who is in charge of the company’s international brand collaborations.

“This is a testament to Missoni’s strong belief in the prospects of the Philippines as a premiere development platform. This pushes the boundaries of Philippine real estate and makes esteemed brands like MissoniHome accessible as a lifestyle experience,” Robbie adds.

MissoniHome

Missoni, founded in 1953 as a knitwear label in Italy by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, grew into a fashion empire run by three generations of the Missoni family and has since been globally recognized for its creative use of patterns and prints.

It was in 1996 that Rosita Missoni, after passing on the fashion reins to daughter Angela, focused on designing for MissoniHome.

“MissoniHome is known for creating its own style that reflects a celebration of life. Our brand is an experience of happiness, excitement, beauty, creativity, style and elegance. We are inspired by the seasons of nature and we play with color because life is more beautiful with color,” notes Vittorio Missoni, marketing director and shareholder of Missoni S.p.A.

Tower’s design

Marco Antonio, managing director and project head of Century Properties meanwhile points out the tower’s design highlights: bold colors and energetic forms in the lobbies, hallways and even elevators, accentuated by equally arresting furniture. The multilevel amenity area called The Canopy, located at the building’s sky deck, serves as the pinnacle of MissoniHome’s design imprint.

The Canopy’s lower level will house functions rooms, business center, an indoor and outdoor gym, jacuzzi, a library and spa. The upper level would be a social space dedicated to interaction and entertainment with an amphitheatre, lounge, DJ booth and dance floor, pool with swim up bar, and barbecue facilities. Residents would also have that option to enjoy surrounding views or enjoy a meal in the open-air dining area by the Pasig River.

Aside from these amenities, Acqua Livingstone residents will also enjoy the tropical rainforest-infused design of the entire masterplanned development.

Touted as the Philippines’ first residential eden, Acqua Private Residences  is located in Mandaluyong City and is connected to the financial capital of Makati City via the new Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge.

Showcasing the regenerating Pasig River into its waterfront design, the development features a central amenity area called The Pebble, a four-story sports and leisure complex with three waterfalls. At the Pebble’s ground floor is the RiverWalk Promenade that features a delightful stretch of restaurants, bars and cafés.

Next to it is the Boardwalk, where an exclusive water shuttle will take residents to and from the Makati riverside.

Acqua Livingstone will have 645 units, which are now offered at preselling prices of roughly P145,000 per square meter. Unit sizes range from 27 to 140 square meters and come in one- to three-bedroom cuts. A private collection of special units called Acqua Privé includes Townhouse, Sky Garden, Private Garden, and Penthouse units are also available.
